At DIYDiamondPainting.ca, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase. That said, we also ask for fairness and respect from our customers. This policy is designed to protect both you and our business.
Returns
Our return window lasts 30 days from the date of delivery. If 30 days have passed, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return:
- The item must be unused, unopened, and in its original packaging.
- Items must be in resellable condition (no missing drills, no creases, damage, or pet hair).
- Proof of purchase (your order number or receipt) is required.
We reserve the right to refuse returns that show signs of use or damage not caused by us.
Exchanges
We’re happy to offer exchanges for defective or incorrect items. If something arrived damaged or you received the wrong kit, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue. We’ll make it right.
Refunds
Refunds are issued to the original payment method once we’ve received and inspected the returned item.
Please allow 3–7 business days for processing.
Non-refundable items include:
- Custom kits (including kits made from your photos)
- Sale or clearance items
- Items marked “Final Sale”
- Opened or used kits or storage trays
Return Shipping
Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer, unless the item was defective or we made a mistake. We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance—we can’t guarantee that we’ll receive your returned item.
How to Start a Return
Please email us at returns@diydiamondpainting.ca with the subject line: Return Request – Order #[YourOrderNumber]
Include:
- Your full name and order number
- A brief reason for the return
- Photos if applicable
We’ll respond within 2–3 business days with next steps.
Abuse of Policy
We reserve the right to limit or refuse returns if we suspect unreasonable or excessive return activity. Please be respectful—we’re a small, independently owned Canadian business doing our best to deliver great quality and service.
